Congratulations to Visvanathan, Au Kait and their Organizing Committee for a fantastic job well done. By comparison of history, Malacca Full Moon HHH is a very young club of less than two years old and yet she is able to form a Barison Hash chapters in Melaka to commit such a big project of an international level. Indeed, the program was carried out with military precision and the three days of activity were compact without any free play.

More than twenty of the members of the Malacca Hash House Harriers have participated in this event and the photos taken are presented here for your viewing pleasure and remembrance.

I was with the group of run No:1 and so the report and photos are only available for this run. Any hashers who experienced other runs and would like to publish their report and photos here are welcome to do so.

Brief report on Pulau Besar Run:
Exactly 151 hashers boarded in three boats respectively for the trip. The weather was very fine and the sea was calm. That made the boat ride very enjoyable. I took the short run ( walk ) and it took me and company almost 2 hrs to complete. It started along the beach through some Hindu holy place and then we were up the steep hill where the hares intentionally misled us so that we had to climb certain part of the hill twice. Then we descended to a beach run, passing through a deserted condominium place and after that we reached the stopping point for drinks. The hare, Gerard came to guide us to go back to the run site through some mangrove area and the golf course and back to the run site. The hash circle was on ( this time without ice to sit ), but Gm Balan designed two pieces of pipe about the arm's length which one had to put on to down the beer. You had to use your ingenuity to on down. That created a lot of fun and laughter.

When everything was over, by 6.30 pm the boat took us back to the Melaka Pier.

Dinner and entertainment was held at Rotunda, Malacca Club, I do not know what time they finished, but I left at 12 midnight.

Day 3 ( Sunday 19th September ): Malacca Heritage/Hangover Run, organized by the Malacca Hash House Hazard@ Orang Gila.

I did not run as my leg muscles got serious cramps the previous night maybe due to the Pulau Besar hill climb. However, I came to see the start of the run at 10 am and the hash circle ended at 1.00 pm. As the word " Gila, Madness " implies, the hash circle was one of the kinds very few hash chapters could follow. The photos will tell.
